1946: The Culture Shift Tour
The 1946 Impact Campaign
The 1946 Impact Campaign is about connection, conversation, and collective healing.
We engage with communities around the world to open hearts and minds through honest, compassionate dialogue. For decades, mistranslations and misunderstandings of the Bible have fueled harm, exclusion, and the weaponization of faith against LGBTQ+ people.
Our mission is to create spaces where people can unlearn misinformation, explore truth with openness, and begin a journey toward deeper understanding and reconciliation. Through community screenings, live conversations, and our podcast, 1946: The Culture Shift Tour, we bring together pastors, scholars, activists, and everyday people from across the globe. From our road trip across the United States to our UK tour—and expanding into new international regions—these conversations continue to grow, with more global episodes launching this summer.
This campaign is not just about a film; it is about healing, reclaiming narratives, and fostering a more inclusive future for all.
This year we are traveling to WorldPride Amsterdam, Berlin (Germany), Cannes (France), Seoul (South Korea), Taipei and Tainan (Taiwan), Namibia, and South Africa, with additional international and USA plans underway for 2027 and 2028.

Evoke Media 1946 Impact Guide
1946 Impact Campaign: Short Synopsis for Impact Reports
The 1946 Impact Campaign is a global initiative focused on education, dialogue, and measurable community impact. Through screenings, community events, and facilitated discussions, we engage audiences worldwide in examining how a single biblical mistranslation shaped decades of harm, policy, and misunderstanding affecting LGBTQ+ people.
Our work centers on creating spaces where participants can critically engage with history, challenge inherited beliefs, and explore faith through a more informed and compassionate lens. These engagements are designed not only to raise awareness, but to support ongoing learning and community-led conversations.
Our approach aligns with best practices in impact distribution and storytelling. The 1946 case study from Eventive demonstrates how the film has successfully mobilized audiences, built grassroots momentum, and fostered meaningful engagement across diverse communities. Additional frameworks, such as Evoke Media’s Indie Distribution Guide, reinforce our focus on strategic partnerships, accessibility, and sustained audience connection.
Together, these tools support our broader mission: to equip communities with knowledge, foster thoughtful dialogue, and create lasting cultural impact rooted in truth, dignity, and inclusion.
